2016 SCHEDULE

Saturday, March 19th From 9am to 7pm, we’ll gather in Kaslo for a day of keynote presentations, speakers, panel discussions, and information sharing, as well as the Kootenay Food Economy Tradeshow. Lunch dinner and snacks are provided, with a musical celebration to finish off the evening.

Sunday, March 20th we’ll meet in Meadow Creek from 9am to 5pm for our Business Boot Camp where farmers and food entrepreneurs will take part in a day-long, guided business planning session with expert Chris Bodnar.   Participants will identify or clarify their businesses mission, objectives, goals and action plans. This will be a serious, but fun and mutually supportive exercise to ensure participants leave the day with strong direction for their businesses, a clear action plan, and a support process to help them stay accountable to themselves in the following year. We mean business, we’re here to help all of us be successful! (Serving Breakfast, Lunch and Snacks)
